Universal Studios Singapore is located on Sentosa Island, at Singapore’s southern tip.

This resort island is an entertainment hub, featuring attractions, hotels, casinos, and shopping facilities.

Easy Access to Sentosa Island

Getting to Sentosa Island from the city centre is quick and easy — it takes just 20 to 30 minutes.

The main gateway on mainland Singapore is VivoCity, connected to HarbourFront MRT station, which is only about 500m away from Sentosa Island.

From here, there are several ways to get across, including on foot, by bus, monorail or cable car. The Sentosa Express monorail, however, is the best option for visiting Universal Studios Singapore.

Simply board the Sentosa Express and get off at the first stop, Resorts World Station. Universal Studios Singapore is then just a stone’s throw away.

Ticket Types and Prices

Universal Studios Singapore uses a dynamic pricing system, with ticket prices varying depending on whether it’s a peak or off-peak day.

In addition to the admission ticket, an optional Express Pass is available, offering priority access to attractions through a dedicated lane.

Though it comes at a premium price, the Express Pass is a worthwhile upgrade that lets you skip the long queues in the regular lanes.

Two types of Express Passes

1. Express Pass: Not valid for use in Minion Land
2. Express Pass Plus: Valid for use in Minion Land

Both allow one-time priority access to each attraction, with the key difference being whether they can be used for the three attractions in Minion Land.

Spanning approximately 20 hectares, Universal Studios Singapore is built around a central lagoon and surrounded by seven themed zones.

 

Seven Zones of Fun & Adventure

The Hollywood zone, extending from the grand entrance concourse, and the neighbouring New York zone together form the symbolic heart of Universal Studios — the legendary home of filmmaking.

Step into the futuristic cityscape of Sci-Fi City, inspired by Transformers, and explore the whimsical kinddom of Far Far Away, where Shrek’s fairy tale comes to life.

In The Lost World, the towering gates of Jurassic Park set the stage for an epic adventure, while Ancient Egypt beckons with mysterious ruins inspired by The Mummy.

As of 14 February 2025, the park welcomes its newest addition — Minion Land.
